The Coronavirus pandemic currently has the world in its grip. Even sectors that were considered absolutely crisis-proof are affected. First and foremost, professional football, which became a billion-dollar business long ago and in which top international footballers cost triple-digit millions in transfer fees and earn gigantic salaries. But the clubs have a major financial problem due to the global crisis. Due to the lack of spectators, ticket revenues are falling dramatically. The clubs are challenged to develop new concepts to build top teams with less income and to achieve maximum success in international competition.
Scouting is at the forefront of these activities in order to discover and develop young and talented players and gradually integrate them into their own squads. Football scouting is absolutely essential for clubs at national and international level. For cost reasons, however, the scouts cannot see every talented player live on the ground at another end of the world, especially since travelling has become difficult in COVID times anyway. Therefore, the German company Invest in Football has developed a prototype for a unique app that can be used to conveniently scout promising football talents worldwide. In order to reach the most important markets worldwide, this app is designed in German, English and Chinese. A special feature of this app is that friends or the family of the players can stream the best scenes directly in the app and thus the scouts can get a perfect overview of the great talents worldwide.
In addition, so-called country licences are sold to former national players all over the world. Thus, there are known and competent contact persons in the most important football countries who are directly available for making contact.
Another coup has just been achieved, as a cooperation with an international football boarding school has been founded in the end of 2020, which is a big step and a USP (unique selling point) compared to other competitors such as Real Madrid, ManUnited or Chelsea.
The Invest in Football team is a partner of various Bundesliga clubs and other top international clubs and has already been able to place 25 young talents with top clubs without the revolutionary app.
In order to continue expanding internationally, Invest in Football is looking for investors and shareholders. Currently, 25 per cent are available for 500,000 euros. In addition, an exit strategy has been included since the beginning, so that the sale of the app to a major investor is possible in probably three to five years. There are already very good contacts with such investors, especially in China.
The managing director of Invest in Football has already published a book on the subject, which was also translated into Chinese and received a great response in the industry. He was also the only German columnist for the China Daily newspaper and is very well connected in China.
