A balmy morning breeze blows through the alleys, giving people a tolerable lightness of being. The sun reflects on the river as it leisurely makes its way through the city. Shopkeepers place baskets of goods in front of their stores and crank down colorful awnings to provide protection from the sun. Business people sit in the café on the riverbank and sip the first cappuccino of the day.
They have a quick chat with acquaintances, colleagues and neighbors before streaming into the offices.
Are we in Rome, looking out over the Tiber? Are we just being enchanted by Venice with its view of the Grand Canal?
The prospective customer is not long in coming and after a brief welcoming chat, they head for the Ferrari that is waiting: a dream on four wheels. Frank Burbach hands the keyless transponder to the customer, who opens the door. She sits down in the car and looks around enthusiastically. The leather, the cockpit, the technology; the exterior elegance of the car is also reflected in the interior. As a long-time customer, this all looks familiar to her, but it is always a wonderful experience. After a short briefing, she starts the engine; the eight cylinders are ready.
The car quickly leaves the city to savour all the driving pleasure on the winding country roads; you could almost think the shady avenues were not in the Rhineland but in Tuscany. After that, the road leads onto the highway to get at least a small impression of what would be possible if one were allowed to …
After an hour, the Ferrari Roma is back where it started. The customer is thrilled and
Frank Burbach is, too:
“I live for moments like this: when I feel that the customer’s emotions become one with our corporate philosophy.”
The two are still discussing details of the equipment, which is also Ferrari’s credo: the car is tailor-made for the customer, because they are, without exception, individualists.
Or are we in Florence and dreaming on the Arno? Are we experiencing the Dolce Vita at its best? No, not quite – but in a certain way we are: we are in Düsseldorf and here the Rhine is flowing tranquilly through this perfect, just beginning summer day.
Everything has a touch of the south, of Italy and its unique way of life.
Frank Burbach, Managing Director of the Ferrari dealer LUEG sportivo, sips his cappuccino at home, ties his Italian silk tie and looks expectantly in the mirror: He is sure that the perfect day lies ahead of him, and we may accompany him.
Frank Burbach is a Ferraristi with a passion. He has loved and lived his job to the full for many years, because he sees it in the literal sense of the word as a true vocation, not just any job.
He has the Ferrari philosophy in his
in his blood and his customers feel it. Joie de vivre. Willingness to perform. Luxury and lifestyle. These are the attributes that drive him and associate him
with the Italian automotive legend. All the more reason for him to look forward
He is all the more looking forward to his first appointment of the day: a long-standing customer wants a test drive in a new model.
He gets into the Ferrari Roma and drives to his office in Meerbusch, where he has an appointment with the customer at 10:00 am.
